Zane Fink
PhD Candidate | Parallel Programming Laboratory | UIUC
Welcome to my web page. I’m Zane, a PhD student in Computer Science and graduate research assistant in the Parallel Programming Laboratory.
My PhD research is guided by the question: how can we make novel programming technologies, such as approximate computing and adaptive runtime systems, more accessible to application developers? To that end, I design abstractions and implement them in programming models and runtime systems that ease programmer burden and increase performance in this era of extreme heterogeneity.
